My Bio
Who I Am
I started my career in Michigan's Upper Peninsula in 2015. California-grown and a graduate of prestigious Arizona State's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, many say I must've just thrown a dart at a map and decided on the U.P.! While, at first, it was certainly a culture shock, that experience taught me so much about myself - I was meant to do this; I was meant to be a journalist and am humbled everyday doing the job I love. To have complete strangers trust you to tell their stories, giving voice to the voiceless in an accurate, honest way is a huge responsibility, but it is why journalists exist. That is a responsibility I am honored to have and one I take very seriously. Now, after doing the same in Green Bay and Austin, I plan on continuing to do what I love most!
